So I don't know what the **** happened, but according to TWRP, there's no OS on the device. I tried to use my thumbdrive via OTG adapter to install a custom rom I had on my pc, but it wouldn't mount for some reason.
Friend tried to walk me through sideloading. It didn't work when I tried to use "adb sideload rom.zip" nor did pushing the .zip for a rom onto the device work, giving me the "error: closed" message. A lot of XDA posts say to try "adb usb" first, but that pulls the same error as in the title.
Now - again, I don't know wtf happened - when I type "adb devices" the phone shows up, but it says host instead of sideload.
