How do you stop ringtones from appearing in music library?

I'm also looking for a solution for this. Using the .nomedia folder did manage to keep my ringtones out of my music library, unfortunately, now they're not available to use as ringtones either.
Also, Putting my ringtones in the ringtones folder didn't keep them from showing up in my library....
How do you stop ringtones from appearing in music library?
